Frequently Asked Questions

Is Qissa® suitable for the whole family?

Yes! Qissa® brings the stories of the Prophets and the Pious to life in a cinematic, heart-stirring style—perfect for shared reading, bedtime, or quiet reflection. It speaks to three key audiences:

  • For Adults: Rediscover the narratives through a modern, immersive lens.
  • For the Youth: Move beyond fictional superheroes—meet the legends who challenged kings, survived the wilderness, and stood unshakable against giants.
  • For New & Non-Muslims: A beautiful, jargon-free introduction to our origins.
Which Prophets and stories are featured in Qissa®?

Qissa® focuses on the depth of each story, and it is not an overview of all the Prophets. The collection covers Prophets Yunus, Dawud, Musa, Nuh, and other pious people in our tradition. Each story is told in vivid, fiction-style prose that captures the desperation, triumph, and Duas behind the events—making them feel immediate and cinematic.

Is the book based on Muslim teachings?

Yes. Every narrative draws directly from our tradition. Qissa® reimagines and embellishes them respectfully in an immersive, descriptive style to help readers experience the moments—without altering core meanings.

How does Qissa® differ from other stories of the Prophets’ books?

Unlike purely academic retellings, Qissa® removes the "academic wall" and presents the stories like a movie: vivid scenes, raw emotions, and heart-pounding moments. You don't just learn the history — you feel the desperation behind the Duas and the triumph of faith.

Is there a free sample or way to preview the book?

Yes — check the "Stop, Stop!" section for a full free story sample from the book. You can also listen to an audio excerpt above to hear the cinematic style come alive.

Where can I buy Qissa® and what about delivery?

Order directly on mukafa.com for £19.99 (currently on limited offer at £16.99) with free UK mainland delivery.

Stop, Stop!

Hajar trudged south with her family as the sun beat down on her skin. Ismail whimpered in her arms, his body damp against hers. Ibrahim carried the tent and their other belongings.

As night descended, the temperature plummeted, forcing them to huddle for warmth. In the daytime the heat pressed in, making it hard to breathe and walk. Their feet dragged through the sand; each step was harder than the last.

An enormous dune rose before them, a colossal peak to test their endurance. Hajar’s legs burned as each step sunk into the shifting sand. She looked up to Ibrahim, who offered her a grim yet proud smile through his chapped lips. In return, Hajar’s eyes shone with an unspoken challenge.

At the summit, Ibrahim extended his hand. Hajar grasped it, her fingers intertwining with his. They stood at the peak and Hajar gazed upon the dunes below. “There’s no civilisation here, Ibrahim.”
